This movie did not represent the franchise in any way. The plot was stupid, the house didn’t match the one from the older films, and the curse doesn’t work the way it did in this movie. They should’ve just remade the movie exactly like the first one except with better cgi. What made the originals so good was not shown in this one. The Grudge from 2003 featured a contortionist type spirit that dragged you away at rapid speed. The Grudge 2020 featured your average demon that drags you away like any old movie. Huge letdown to the series and I wouldn’t count this as a Grudge film.

The movie ending made no sense to me. In a matter of seconds Stark managed to rip out the stones without making any noise whatsoever, used enough force to do so with only one hand, and put them in a glove that shouldn’t even be a thing? Thanos should have finished off the Avengers once and for all. If there’s another movie like Infinity War in the future, the villain that puts them on their knees shouldn’t show mercy like Thanos did.
