Having seen the Broadway musical, I thought the movie version was very good! Only Ben platt, with his beautiful voice, could have been Evan Hansen. I thought he did a great job making himself appear as an anxious high schooler. The rest of the cast were also amazing. I highly recommend seeing this film, especially if you’ve wanted to see the play and haven’t been able to.
