I really enjoyed the new Gossip Girl series, it felt inclusive to large number of things from sexuality to... race. I haven't watched the original Gossip Girl enough to even begin to compare the two but i also feel like I don't have to. This is a pretty good show and the sound scoring was something that caught my attention as well, I appreciate shows like the new Gossip Girl! I am a GG Reboot fan.
