This is the single most (critically) important storytelling I have EVER seen. I am 73 and have worked in the field of ecology since 1990, teaching and leading youth in hands-on restoration work. This is the story we all need to see, to grasp the gravity of our planet's future; the necessity for rapid change.
Since watching this film I have been moved to call and write to friends and colleagues asking them to watch it as well and to then share with others.
We live in the Sky Islands of the Southwest USA along the US/ Mexico border, a place of global importance from a biodiversity standpoint (read E.O. Wilson's Half Earth), in a county where there are more rare and endangered species than any other in the continental US.
In my work I demonstrate how to halt erosion, and infiltrate rainwater to improve these arid ecosystems which is essential to addressing the climate crisis. I work with partners (scientists, conservationists, educators etc) and other organizations.
I would like to show this film in our small community and would like to know how to do this.
