Rise of Skywalker review (Spoiler ahead, continue at your own risk)
as a long time star wars fan, the sequel star wars trilogy is undeniably the weakest trilogy due to its poor construction from the beginning that resulted in lack of good plots to be presented. The Force Awakens had its momentum and brought all star wars fans altogether for a while despite some of its controversies like it being similar to the A New Hope. Unfortunately, to the director of The Last Jedi's delight, Rian Johnson, The Last Jedi was nothing but a controversial monstrosity. It destroyed our beloved character Luke's arc in every single way. Not enough character developments were present except for Kylo Ren. It tore up the fanbase apart. Rise of Skywalker was supposed to amend this monstrous trilogy but apparently it was too late because of what Rian Johnson had done in the previous movie that was a hot mess. There's just too much going on in one movie that it could've been several separate movies. JJ's effort to save this trilogy was quite apparent by him trying to seduce the fanbase with all the fanservice like Palpatine, etc, yet, to no avail. The saga closing that was supposed to be a closure that brings us all fans together failed to put the biggest smile in our faces.
