The music that I grew up listening to was ever so much more thrilling than the covers presented in this documentary, it felt subdued and flat and the fantastic rich harmonies were sorely missed. Jaykob Dylan was flat in affect and did not even have a tint of passion for the musical material, all seemed sad and flattened to almost unrecognizable renditions. I took my daughters to see this today expecting to learn a heck of a lot more about the bands and would have preferred 80 % less of the covers that Dylan did. I could not have endured another butchering some of my favorite music. Disappointed and bewildered why the movie Model Shop,( never heard of it until today, though I was living in Los Angeles County all during the 60s) had any significance except to show the panorama of some of Los Angeles area and as filler? The living room conversations were somewhat awkward. I wish I had waited until this was available on internet and saved some cash.
