No character development and therefore completely unbelievable at every turn which makes the attempts at horror and suspense weak and empty. Mia goth manages to be annoying throughout and when she tries to portray a kind of psychopathy towards the end it comes of as forced, out of character and ultimately laughable. Weird for weird sake. Too long. All fluff with no real substance. The soundtrack was interesting. That's about it.

About as far as it gets from the life of a struggling artist as it gets while tryng to portray the life of a struggling artist. Nola has a beautiful apartment in New York, a therapist, pretty much zero struggles besides being a little late with the rent. SHE SEE'S a THERAPIST WHILE MAKING MEDIORCRE ART THAT DOESNT SELL( Art supplies are not cheap) . HOW? Where does all this money come from? It's entertaining but nonsense!!!

The story about Colin growing up bi-racial to adopted parents was interesting and there was some good acting for sure. I'm not American and have little interest in American football but the show holds its own when it comes to basic storytelling. It was full of racial stereotypes however and some of the comparisons of Colins story to historical events were really reaching. It would be like and Irish football player comparing himself to Michael Collins because he didn't get picked to play for an English team. Still worth a watch but cringeworthy at times
