Terence Winter exacerbates his uncanny ability to craft movies on the edge of what feels acceptable. Despite Winter's pitfall, Scorsene equipoises Winter's draconian choices with some efficacious cinematic choices. It is only due to Scorsene's non-superfluous script as well as DiCaprio's ubiquitously cocksure acting that the movie acquired such a barrage of awards. This film is surely an anomaly of current times, circumspectly engineered by a posse of zealots. This movie is sure to have a pernicious and virulent effect on it's close competitors.
