3 times watched it now! Actors are exceptional,everyone. It's essentially a love story and what a love story! Who wouldn't love it,? Just a trace of the Alfie Solomons in Spalls character portrayal. Nothing wrong with that per se. Tom Hardy always good for inspiration. The 2 leads make it for me,great job. I'm sure I will watch this again and again. 2nd series?

So good,so good! .The absolute tragic reality of life in inner cities everywhere in whatever types of social housing all over the world.Everyone of these actors are absolutely amazing. I hope they are all recognised and go on to great things. Of course we all know the brilliance of The Wire but this shows us how good stories about the U.K. Black British experience are. To sum up I would just say,how sad. Well done Noel and everyone. And no Keir Starmer,we don't need new towns , I grew up in 2 of them both s...holes. Improve the ones already in existence.

Great cast but unnecessarily gruesome overall.Less is always more guys! Ridiculous plot. However ,for all that I find objectionable,still can't stop watching! Stand out performance by the guy who plays Elliott. He's the cat who won't cop out If they ever remake Shaft again,he's my choice. If you want to see bloodshed well done onscreen,check out Warrior.

I am loving this series.Great acting .Its good to watch actors we dont really know in the U.K. For the TV. and film industry going forward after Covid it is to be hoped that we look further afield than the U.S. for great entertainment.Lets broaden our horizons !
