So glad someone made a remake of the original with most nonsensical climax & fixed it. I was so relieved just to see the family fight back, and would have been satisfied even if they would have died fighting. Because I was furious the original script where the stupid parents just obliged to the request of killers to strip & be stoned to death, Without ever trying to fight back, especially when the killers had no leverage over them, They were not at gun point, nor outnumbered, not even threatened to slaughter or rape their daughter, etc.. Yet they easily choose to end their life & let their daughter endure torture for many months untill they found another victim. Even when the daughters tongue was mutilated in front of the mother, all she did was throw tantrum like a toddler in the backseat just kicking the car, Not once did she even try to punch the psycho women peacefully sitting beside her without weapons.

I am having a headache watching this nonsense. Who in the right mind wouldn't fightback when your own life is on risk. These parents don't even TRY to fight for their child & themselves. They just obediently followed the requests to be murdered by stoning. (yes REQUEST coz you can't even call them COMMANDS when there was no threat at all from the so called killers) It's not like they were at gun point or heavily injured, or threatened that their child will be murdered if they didnt oblige. They were two people against two psychopaths without any weapons or gang. They had equal chance to fight with them. Even if your child was murdered in front of your eyes and your world shattered & you lost the purpose of life, Normal people would get the rage filled adrenaline rush to take revenge & fight till their last breath even if they are outnumbered & there is no hope to win. You still try. And Here when their child's tongue was mutilated, the mother just kicked the car seat just like a toddler throwing tantrum, not even one attempt to punch the women sitting just beside her who snatched & mutilated her child. But Father was the most useless being in the whole movie, he didn't even warn his wife & kids about the danger when he had ample time, and He didn't take the golden chance drive the car & flee when killer got out of the car. He could have atleast hit the man with the car to injure him & then deal with the women, but he choose to sit and let the killers easily drive then to their destination. Even when the 3rd person took their child away, he very well knew what their intention was, that their daughter was going to be kept alive atleast untill they found next victim, then she would eventually be killed brutally. After being abused & tormented like the current victim. And he didn't even got the thought to rescue her.

Such a hypocritical show! on one hand tries to convey the message that mother's don't need to be perfect, they are all perfectly IMPERFECT; But on the other hand, all the mother's on this drama had the perfect fit bodies, perfect figure, perfect hair, makeup & they were always dressed to perfection. So Where is the portrayal of real life moms who dont have perfect bodies, skin & hair. Who don't even have time or energy to get dressed, who gets the work done in their pajamas, nighties, or simple house clothes? Who toil in kitchen all day, who may not be dependent on cooks & cleaners? Only the working mothers are shown as cool , successful, that make their kids proud. Not a single example of stay at home mom who is valued & cherished by her family & society. Both the home makers were shown as failures in their life, neither they had control over their children, nor on their marriage. Ones husband way gay businessman & others was jobless alcoholic. Even when the rich business women mom tells her daughter that she wants to quit job to be with her , the daughter outright refuses & tells her that she is proud of her work. After watching this, instead of feeling empowered I felt very insignificant, like a failure because I am not a perfect looking, slim, energetic, well groomed working mom who can afford to buy everything for her kids.

Giving one star because one wrong cast member Sherlin Sehgal who spoilt the whole series. It's such a shame that this Magnum Opus which focused on so much little details, from great sets, costumes, hairstyle, dialogs, to amazing music, lyrics, choreography, etc they wasted so much screen time for a product of Nepotism who couldn't even do justice to the role. The whole cast performed well, including all actors for small roles, expect this niece of Sanjay lila bhansali who played Alamzeb. She stood out like a sore thumb in the whole series with that Stone face & hoarse voice. Forget the Facial expressions, Dialogue delivery, & Body Language; Even her eyes were totally DEAD- with zero EMOTIONS! She had same 'smiley face' expression throughout the season irrespective of whether she was happy, sad, angry, depressed, stressed, shocked, surprised, etc. If we MUTE, we wouldn't even know what she is trying to portray on the scene.😅 Infact In the most serious and poignant scenes, where one would expect her to appear DEVASTATED, Her demeanor was instead reminiscent of a new bride or new lover—who's visibly excited about her blossoming romance yet shy, causing her to smile & blush.

Clean family movie with some education about history of holocaust & a good moral. It's a decent film which is rare these days!

It's little Slow paced but I liked the movie very much.

I watched original movie long back, & I really liked the story except for the FACT that nobody will be left with mild red bruised face after being exposed to extreme cold temperatures. In reality the more your skin is directly exposed to extremely cold temperatures, all the smaller parts of the body can eventually turn black due to frostbites & you may also need to amputate them if it's too late. Mostly nose, ears , toes & fingers are at risk. So I was extremely content to see glimpse of REALISTIC makeup of frostbites on jahnavi in MILI as apposed to the original HELEN Seeing this remake I was satisfied that they kept the direction of movie exactly the SAME, Yet subtly polished the scenes wherever it was needed, along with giving us some good music.

Good time pass movie & great acting by everyone but Don't know why I didn't enjoy Vicky kaushals that much. Throughout the movie I was imagining Kunal Khemu at Vicky kaushals place & felt that he could have done more justice to this role due to his excellant comic timing & expression. Kunal was spectacular in Lootcase, this movie could have matched that level.

It's 1 time watchable at Max!! They Tried to fit in way too many issues in 1 film to have any impact... Male gynaecologist Single parenting Parent dating life Extra marital affair Consentual relationship with minor Illegal obsorbtion centers Underage obsorbtion Girls & boys can be friends, etc etc Along with comedy. I felt like they wanted to mix Badhai Ho with Munna Bhai MBBS, but failed But End result Didn't come out well. The direction is weak, dialogs are mehhh. Avoidable!
