Emotionally moving , feels like you’re there with them. The movie as a whole for Society of the Snow wins over Alive, but the Alive crash scene and the actual journey they take on foot wins over this one. But debatable . It’s rare to see two of the same movies made within 30 years of eachother being both this well made.

Literally feels like I’m coming back from the enemy frontline to write this. I’m the two hours I laughed, got tears eyed, felt sick to my stomach, and went on an emotional rollercoaster. If you don’t give this at least 4 stars you literally have no soul and should stick to high octane action flicks with bad acting. It’s up there with Platoon and Full Metal Jacket, but completely different style. Even though these soldiers have all passed away by now, It’s the first time in my life that I feel like visiting a seniors home and giving a lonely vet of past wars some company.
