It was a pleasant Sunday afternoon surprise. Visually and conceptually awesome..... It’s steampunk artistic style was great to watch. Taken on its own, it’s a stand alone. So I wasn’t disappointed. The characters could have had more depth, but they were engaging enough. I really wish they had more background on the “sixty minute war”.... but it is what it is. My tastes are aesthetic and obtuse and if it hadn’t opened against Spiderverse and others it probably would have done better. Watch it with your other half, some beer, adult beverages and take it for what it is...
