Contrary to the snide and pompous remarks of the bloated New York Times and their cronies, this is a refreshingly well written and cast historical film with deep chivalrous convictions that transcends the modern trends of today where morals are uncertain and right and wrong are gray areas. This film is an exciting breath of fresh air in the tradition of Gladiator and Braveheart.
