Cuties was uncomfortable to watch at times but I think it's the point of the movie. It should be uncomfortable to see young girls in that light but they are only doing what's being perpetrated in the broader culture. It should be on all of us to create a healthier society for the youngs among us. We should care about what we post on instagram, the comments we make on facebook/twitter, the type of behaviour we model, even the art we create cause the kids are watching. As a social commentary, this movie is very on point. It's a must see for parents in my opinion and anyone who cares about protecting the innocence of children. Also, great storytelling and very well-made.
