2020 Strikes again. This show was based on an unbelievably popular cult classic and the first season captures it in it's own way with throwbacks and characters that fit the same attitudes and feel of the film. The second season, which goes back to the history of the original, and describes the family of the perpetrators of the movies to let the audience understand why the crimes were committed and gives you a back story into that life...then is weirdly taken to season 3 which somewhat fell into that line of the story and still followed the same path....is now, all of a sudden about "race". Within the 1st 27 minutes, it has literally nothing to do with any story that has anything to do with Fargo...1950s Jews ran everything??...they were taken over by the Irish who then, apparently ran the country?...then the Italians who took over?...in NORTH DAKOTA...then black gangs came in and ran the criminal gangs...IN NORTH DAKOTA???....This series, nor the movie had ANYTHING to do with race, politics, social issues or ANY of that!!!! guess it does now...thumbs down, 1 star
