I don't understand all the bad reviews. I was gripped and entertained by the story. Like any good crime drama I was wrong in all my guesses about who dunnit. From the beginning I thought it was the little girl... then I thought it was the dead boy's father .... The denouement was a complete surprise.
So what if the location and sets were a bit CGI ish. I expect the people who were complaining about them are the sort of people who complained about how much headroom there was in the submarine in Vigil.
I think people have forgotten what drama, entertainment and escapism are about. They just want to nit pick to show off how clever and sophisticated they think themselves to be.
