It was a layup, and they crushed it. Bringing back something this nostalgic for the 30-40 year old community was brilliant. Of course all ages will enjoy this show. Its a cartoon that plays like a grownups action drama. The dialogue was some of the best I've ever heard in a cartoon, and we get to see more of certain xmen that didn't get love in the live action movies.

I was pleasantly surprised by how entertaining this show was. It had action, comedy, romance, and drama, and all well done. I didn't feel like there were any fluff episodes and I'm hoping they come back with a season two with the same two leads.
