The Last Jedi is bad, through and through. As to not spoil much, I'll say this- Rian Johnson actively put making his own, WW2-esque war drama above making the 8th movie in a franchise. This movie actively avoids, contradicts, and destroys characters, world building and lore for the sake of spectacle- and i will admit, this movie does have some gorgeous shots. However, a few good screenshots is nowhere near enough to outweigh the shocking amount of terrible, terrible writing. The lack of control on Disney's part is also partly to blame. This movie should be ashamed for what it does to the world, charaters, and lore of Star Wars.
