A good Chinese film where they speak English. Amazing stunts and cinematography. This is not a Disney film though - much like Cinderella where it was more hype than the movie was worth. Understand the need to make changes to cater to an audience that would have felt alienated by parts of the original animated movie - but they should have followed in the foot steps of Beauty and the Beast and kept closer to the DISNEY source while adding little twists. Disappointing and forgettable - not worth a rewatch. There's a reason the original is so well loved the world over. I went in with the expectation of watching a Disney film - which is why 2 stars. If it did not market itself as Disney and was just another Chinese movie (which I also love watching) it would be 3 stars.
