I guess if you have lost a loved one, it makes you completely and irreversibly illogical and pathetic. The main character from the very beginning is frail, cowardly, and incapable of saying "no" when she should be screaming "get away from me". It's 2021, not 1921- we have stranger danger lessons for KIDS- was this woman living in a hole and didn't get the message? All of her decisions just make her more and more unnecessarily vulnerable until of course the car breaks down in the middle of nowhere, and what does she do trying to run away from the villian? Literally stand in the road like a deer in the headlights until the very last second, until there's no time to escape, then jumps into the passenger seat of her disabled vehicle, instead of running into the woods. The amount of times she had to alert a family member or the authorities BUT DIDN'T is infuriating. *creepy man is stalking you* "Sorry mom, can't talk anymore." What? Who does this?! The whole movie I could barely sit still because of how mindnumbingly dumb it is- down to the very end, where our main character randomly turns into a mud wrestling mma fighter. I guess she forgot she was a damsel in distress after that car crash.
