Audience always expects great results from a big budget movie like Odiyan. The point is that it disappointed even the fans. The director just spoiled the movie, which could be taken more creatively and effectively. The fight scenes was an exact copy from the recent movie 'Pulimurugan'. Songs were very pleasant to hear but the video scenes appeared as if it was an album or advertisements. Any way the movie is a one time watchable family entertainer. Please do not expect any mass scenes as Odiyan is a class movie of a villager named maniquan. As an actor Lalettan played his role very well as expected.
