Speaking as true Star Wars fan being over 40, I must say I was alittle disappointed in this movie, but let me explain why? Yes the move was better then TLJ and slightly equal to TFA, were I have problems with it is the rushed condensed feelings I got while I watched it. This movie could have been 2 movies which could have gone deeper into plots, relationships, new characters, and backstories we all still have questions about(Palpatine's survival). Now this movie was by no means awful, it just could have been soooo much better. And to me and anyone over 30, Anikan Skywalker will always be The Chosen One. I do feel both pros and cons about Rise of Skywalker, but this is coming from a person who's very first movie seen in a theater was A New Hope. I just think there are aspects of Star Wars that Disney and Kathleen Kennedy just do not get, and never will. Again not awful but left me quite disappointed after credits rolled. I think if I could some this movie up in 2 words it would be , emotional rollercoaster.
