This shouldn't be called a batman animation, the story isn't really about the character it almost seems like a marketing ploy to sell more copies. I found the story very weak with central characters back stories leaving huge chunks out plus for the quite juvenile style of animation it was unnecessary gory . You could lift batman right out of the story and it wouldn't change things.

Honestly, this season was all over the place. Poorly written, poorly directed and some questionable performances. I found that this was hardly recognisable as star trek. How can an ensign jump to first officer whilst there are multiple higher ranking officers within the crew, it makes no sense and just seems like the writers have never watched any previous series nor have any clue what a command structure is. The back and forth of Michael breaking the rules being demoted then randomly taking the captaincy at the end of the run is just bizarre writing. The crew embracing this is also bizarre, she has a history of mutiny and insubordination but hey yeah, ok, be our captain and get treated for not following the rules. I watch this show in the hope it will get better, sadly it just goes down the rabbit hole more and more.

Dc does it again and delivers another waste of 2+ hours from your life. Scenes are spliced together in such a bizarre way that I felt the movie had skipped forward. The story line was very weak, chemistry between the two female leads seemed very forced and the return of Chris Pine was not a well thought out plot. Ignoring comic book source seems to be what Warner does time and again and it always produces mediocrity.
