Definitely different style for the Christian believers...but probably somewhat realistic themes. To see a pastor give in to his anger was new although I couldn't help but wonder how he would resolve it since it was against his teachings. It was good to see David A.R. White keep his hair "ungreasy" for a change and somewhat combed. The greasy, unkempt look doesn't do him nor the movie any good. Director Michael Mason needs to go back to director's school and unlearn the shaky camera thing. It didn't work in Blair Witch nor the other alien movie. It just makes you nauseous and want to switch to something more stable.

I really enjoyed this movie. The scenery was beautiful, acting spot on, story line clever, and it slowly pulls you in. Unfortunately it isn't in English despite it saying so (above)-unless it is dubbed on Amazon. We saw it On Demand and it was a foreign movie with English subtitles.There were several times the story was a little contrived but Hollywood does that all the time and if you just sit back and enjoy the ride then you will be pulled into this mesmerizing story. Warning though: it, like most dog stories, is a tear jerker but over comes the sadness to fulfill a great ending!
