Five stars for this timely & much needed book by Dr. Braxton Hunter! Letters from Ignorantia should be read by every Christian & the message taken to heart. How many Christians think they know what the Bible teaches, yet their opinions are formed mostly by what they allow to be spoon-fed to them by pastors & Bible study material? Do most invest sufficient time in Bible study, learning how to self-feed & objectively evaluate? Or simply buy whole-sale into a pre-packaged denominational grid through which the Scriptures are interpreted? Have most pastors merely been awarded a degree in a particular denominational grid? Wouldn’t it be ironic if the most theologically dogmatic among us are actually among the most griddy? But the even bigger question is this: What might happen when an anti-grid, objective, self-feeder of the truth seeks to influence a culture that’s driven by the lust of the eyes, the lust of the flesh, & the pride of life, & where grids are king among professing Christians? What will ultimately win out in the end? A revival of the truth? Grids? Secular culture? Read Letters from Ignorantia to find out!
