Prepare to roll your eyes every few minutes at the insane plot that is routinely forced in to take things away from the Avengers. You think Captain America was the first Avenger? Nah. Didn't you know Carole Danvers was responsible for The Avengers? Thought Nick Fury's past was shrouded in bad assery? Negative. He was a bumbling goofy shield detective. Thought there was some bad ass dark story to him losing an eye? Nope. It was a goofy accident. In under two hours Nick Fury was reduced to the joke of Marvel. Just wait for the biggest Retcon in Marvel history toward the end of the movie. Plot twist? No. That takes intelligence. Just a blatant Retcon without justification. You didn't outsmart the audience. You just changed 60+ year known facts in the Marvel universe to push some anti war political angle. This film should have been called Captain Retcon.
