I honestly just watched this because I thought it was a lesbian love story. It turned out really sad in the end. It feels like a super long film and somehow it doesn't feel like anything is happening through a lot of it. Maybe because so much is happening and the transitions are confusing. I did kind of enjoy it, but I don't think I'd watch again. I may have liked it more as a TV series with more of the characters internal thoughts and more inclusion of side characters. It felt isolated, which is how I guess the main character feels, so maybe that was intentional
