COD used to be my favorite game to play. Iv Played every version that has came out. This game has been absolutely ruined. Campers are in every game so you just learn to deal with them. For me what has ruined the game is the updates and the path the developers have chosen to take. The game is constantly under large updates, 20gb+. Rather then fixing the multiplayer spawn traps and terrible spawn problem they have decided to turn their focus to ground war and making COD into fortnite (war zone). In order to play standard multiplayer you have to sit through a huge update for ground war which has absolutely nothing to do with standard multiplayer. Ground war wasn’t bad, not my style but not bad. But the war zone is what killed this game for me. Don’t like it, tried it, won’t play again. I can’t even play multiplayer without it having to wait for the war zone update. In my opinion what would make it better is an “optional” update. If You want the standard OG versions and nothing to do with the war zone side then you should have a choice if you want to download it or not. The game is absolutely massive, still growing and 75% of the data it uses isn’t even for the OG versions. The developers are turning the game intoSomething COD has never been and it has ruined the game. If they were going to make such a drastic game it should have been its own separate entity. Started off as an amazing game then turned into garbage. I won’t be buying the next game and am very close to uninstalling the current modern warfare 2019. So long to a 12 year run, fun while it lasted.
