Mystery Diners is the best show to date. I chant the intro in my dreams every night.
It goes like : " My name is Charles stiles and for over 20 years I've helped thousands of restaurants eliminate their problems. 'thats our fricking thief' 'put it down' but people are becoming savvy, 'mystery diners? nah, we good', so now we're going deeper undercover 'the bride and groom!" using private investigators ' i tagged a few of your- barrels' and unleashing new technology " release the drone" this is mystery diners ' surprise!" like you've never seen before " how long have you been stealing from me?', ' do you wanna go to jail?'
My only complaint is that they seem to have changed the part where the police officer asks " do you wanna go to jail?" because it seems that Charles himself is the one voice acting it now opposed the deep voiced "do you wanna go to JAIL?" before from the real cop.
Obviously this show is amazing and a gem, I especially like the episode where Hal drinks on the job and gets fired, only for our saint Charles Stiles to employ him as a mystery diner in a later episode.
I have seen every episode and all of them are fantastic, one of my favourites is where one of the employees at a seafood restaurant is a lobster advocate and releases lobsters to their freedom. After getting fired, he rushes to get the last batch of lobsters out to sea before he goes home. Charles notices this on his cameras and rushes out, jumping over the boardwalk fence and onto the warm sand that had been soaking the sun for hours to stop the lobsters from being freed. In this scene, we can explicitly see how majestic Charles is from running across the beach.
We mustn't overlook the amazing running skills of Charles as he runs out of the control room multiple times throughout the show to stop havoc and bring peace and enlightenment to the troubled employees.
Masterpiece of a show and have watched since 2013. The show has completely changed my way of thinking in daily life. Charles, if you are reading this, you are my dearest inspiration. I practice track and field in hopes of achieving your form of running. Thank you.
