Stunningly shot, well acted, and those are the only two positives I can say about the movie. This is possibly the first movie where I have actively wished I had to go to the bathroom so I would have an excuse to skip some of the movie (I didn't so I stayed there the whole time).
It breaks its own rules, it actively insults it's own legacy, it forgets to develop any of the stories it brings in. I went in hoping to see something fun and kinda dumb that would let me escape to the universe I grew up loving. Instead I found myself baffled and bored out of my mind.
Not the worst Star Wars movie. Attack of the Clones and the Holiday Special are worse. But that's a pretty low bar. Will probably end up being the only Star Wars movie I've only watched once.
