I was a loyal viewer of the original law and order, so I was super excited to view the new one. Well....I can say I was dissapointed. I can't quite tell if the acting or the writing is the problem. But it is definitely not great, The only bright spot is the occasional scene with the tremendous Sam Waterston. He was the best part of the original and still the best part. Overall its not really good. But I still watch just out of shear loyalty. Just try to ignore Anthony Anderson, with his super cheesy lines.I like Anthony in other shows and movies but , this is not for him or they need to write better for him. Unfortunate but true. The cop scenes are one liners and just not believable and its just really bad. I would say watch and see for yourself , you may be able to compartmentalize the show as I do so I can get through it.

This is the most accurate portrayal of grief..Mr. Gervais..BRAVO. Made me look at my life with such profound joy and gratefulness. Cheers !!
