I didn't enjoy or frankly understand this movie. Perhaps I'm just not that deep and didn't understand all the innuendo or perhaps because I didn't feel that burdened and smothered by being a wife and mother. It was much too complex for me to try to decipher and I don't find that enjoyable in a movie unless it's a mystery that I'm supposed to find complex. I found the characters to be lacking in personality or any real depth to make this a worthwhile movie. I wish I hadn't wasted the time to watch it in it's entirety but I did, hoping for a brilliant revelation to come up and spread light on everything. Alas that never happened and I'm sorry I wasted my time. And although I like the cast, they just couldn't make it work. Maybe more brilliant minds than mine will love this but I don't believe that will happen.

Fantastic movie!! Just watch it and you'll get it. Fairly accurate satire on today's society relating to social media, politics, news outlets and today's population in general. Lots of laughs and some truths that will hit too close to home. Plus what's not to love about the cast?! The 'critics' will probably give this mediocre reviews as perhaps it hits too close to home for them today but watch the movie for yourself and make your own decision. If you have any sort of sense of humor, you'll enjoy it!!

I don't speak French so I had to watch the movie twice, then a third time just because I loved it!! Catherine Deneuve is gorgeous as ever, Juliette Binoche has always been a favorite of mine and Ethan Hawke is just a gem. I loved the drama played out by all the parties and this small cast has really managed what not many could with the limited settings--they told the story of a dented but not completely broken family that can be put back together. The banter among all of them was so natural that it seemed as if they really were living their lives on screen, not a group of actors saying lines. Plus the beautiful language and settings just completed the film. I know many people won't appreciate the complicated simplicity of The Truth as it's a quiet film but the quiet speaks volumes if you just listen.

I gave this a chance because of the hype surrounding a Mike Flanagan project. 7 episodes about an hour long each with the first 4 episodes so excruciatingly boring, I dozed off a bit and then simply fast-forwarded through most of them. The long winded speeches and discussions seemed more like never-ending sermons. However, there was just enough of a hint of something good that I stayed with it. The last 3 episodes were better, enough to keep me watching to the end of the basically train wreck of a series. I know most people love it but frankly the only way this could have been better was if it was simply a 2 hour movie. The cast was actually really decent even though the only actress I knew was Annabeth Gish but even they couldn't pull this off. I get the message of good vs evil and pious self-rightousness vs sheep blindly following, of desperate people searching for anything in their mundane lives but in my opinion this was just a disaster from the beginning. It also reminded me really too much of a Stephen King book to be an original work of anyone else.

I thought I'd give the premier a shot because I like Teri Polo and Scott Foley and the premise looked different than the typical story-lines we've come to expect. I'm sure glad I did! It's a great show, well written, excellent ensemble cast with enough drama and laughter to keep me entertained. It's a breath of fresh air among all the heavy drama shows on. I don't know if this was meant to be a one season show or if they're trying for more but if the rest of the episodes keep on being as good then we're in for a treat while it lasts!!!

Excellent! Brilliant! I love everything about this show, from the fabulous ensemble cast to the dark humor of the murder mystery! It's a breath of fresh air desperately needed in a TV world filled with angst ridden youngsters who don't have a clue about anything. The seasoned cast knows their stuff and the young actors fit in like the pros they're working with. And exceptionally well written show with twists and turns and new clues sprinkled in. The episodes are also only 30 minutes in length--just long enough to keep your interest and not feel like you have to have to invest a serious block of time. We need more programs like this one in my opinion and hopefully with the success of OMITB we'll get them.

A very real look at how women are treated when they try to save themselves and their children. A very real and eye opening look at the hoops they have to jump through and how seemingly impossible the system is to navigate and how much it holds them down. But also a very real look at the resiliency and fierce determination of a woman to make it out. Loved the story, brilliant casting, have tissues handy.

Great movie for older kids and adults alike!! It's gotten bad reviews by critics but most real people enjoy it. Good/gentle vs Mean/violent storyline and great cast with some very strong actors. Sadly it was Phil Hartman's last movie and he was lost to us before he got to see the movie premier but apart from that sad note, for those of us who grew up with action figures and Barbie it's a great movie!

This show is a breath of fresh air from the typical house-flipping shows that seem to be all that's on these days. I love Dick and Angel and their families and am happy they have allowed us into their lives for the Chateau transformation. Their ideas, quirky flair and 'can-do' attitudes, even if they've never tried it before and in another country where they kind-of speak the language but aren't fluent...not many would have what it takes to take on the Chateau. I'm so glad they took on this adventure and are sharing it with us!!!

A must see!! While both Reese Witherspoon and Kerry Washington are accomplished actresses, I believe this is their best performances yet. Little Fires Everywhere takes you in many different directions and makes you think and possibly question everything you know in each direction it takes.
