Overall: Bad writing. The flashback sequences are gripping, and will make you want to keep watching to find out what happened after the pandemic and collapse of humanity. But that’s really all there is to this show. Early on, they set up the Prophet as the antagonist and successfully convince the viewer that he is a really bad person doing untold evil things. But then it all just stops there. The darkness of the Prophet isn’t explored; instead we learn he’s just a kid who ran away because people were mean to him, and all he really wants is to destroy some old technology. C’mon.
