Someone should probably tell those that made this movie that excessive gore and brutality dont make up for a deficiency in talent for making movies. Terrible.

Watchable but not impactful. The movie tries too hard to impart the blair witch effect with shaky camera work. The acting is decent enough, but ones immersion into the story keeps getting destroyed by predictable outcomes and unrealistic events in favour of being dramatic. I suppose a certain person could enjoy this kind of movie, but if you are more of a cerebral person and need a bit more depth to a story this one probably isnt for you.

I really enjoyed it. Surprisingly. Judging from some reviews I expected it to be terrible, but the story was good, the actors were excellent and the ending actually provided some closure that I needed subconsciously after watching the previous movies. Really no complaints, if you liked the previous movies and still think about them and what happened to the characters, watch this.

Not bad. The movie failed to draw me in fully, this could be perhaps due to the cultural divide between east and west, but I never felt a connection with the characters. Dont get me wrong, it does a decent job of evoking that response we all look for when watching horrors, it just fails to bridge the divide between an ok horror and a good one. Good acting by all involved, plot is a bit difficult to understand at first and there are a few questionable actions by those involved to advance the plot, which kills emotional investment by the viewer, at least in my case. It gets creative near the end and involves the audience in a way I have never seen before, so it definitely gets some points there. In summary, check it out if you want a change and love horrors or if you are a casual watcher in the mood for a creepy feeling or two.

Very good. Messed up.. But very good. Amazing performances by the cast (Emma why did you cut your hair!) The balance of good and evil in each character is deeply nuanced, as it is in life, which serves to draw you in to the intricacies of that individual. (To the creators of The Rings of Power; THIS is how you do it) The sets, costumes and special effects are amazing. The story filled with flavour, suspense and surprises. I am grateful to have had the privilege of watching such a masterpiece.

This is not Tolkien. Its a woke mess filled with bad acting and even worse writing. Stopped watching after the first episode. Thank god we have the movies and the books, J.R.R Tolkien must be turning in his grave to see his careful work butchered so for profit and woke points.

Really good, but at the same time really depressing seeing my childhood heroes broken by life. Fantastic performances by Hugh Jackman and Patrick Stewart.

I was at the edge of my seat after the first 10 minutes. Highly recommended.

Disturbing, terrifying and leaves you with a light case of post traumatic stress. Absolutely recommended.
