The manga is enjoyable to read but seeing the animation in action is incredible. MAPPA studio thank you for this blessing of a movie.

This show was entertaining but the childhood stories felt so forced, they just came in at the wrong times, and just the conversations/ conflicts feel superficial. I believe the thing that made it really hard to take seriously is how one minute the music is all light and we get everyone's back stories in just one episode with sad music. It feels so fake it's unbearable. Hype House changed a lot and I mean I'm not shaming their issues but it's just that the problems seem very light-hearted but here seem like it's the end of the world. Otherwise it's v entertaining but just feels so forced.
