I can only hope I can be even a wee bit like them when I get to that age. Curious, ornery and able to make a huge life in a tiny speck of a place. The show is one of my favorites of all time and makes you pine for a friendships as close as those portrayed in the series. Astounding work by all involved. In the 1980's we had a show called SCTV whose actors could become the characters they played so perfectly that you'd think the cast was 50 strong. I'm sure the actors in this show could do the same no matter the character given them. I'll miss this show terribly, but my life is much the better for having been able to see it. Thank you.
