One of, if not, the best anime to ever exist. Characters are well developed with a plot that for the most part works really well and cohesive. The topics the show tackles such as war, religion and science makes for a remarkable thematic that has as much significance to the real world as ever. Though the pacing at the start is slow, it pays off quickly with the thriller scenes and cliff hangers which entices one to continue on to the next.
