I only recently watched Lord of the rings and it’s one of the greatest fantasy franchises out there. Loved the storyline and characters. So I was looking forward to watch Rings of power, Episode 1-2 was okay. The storyline does drag on a bit but the visuals and sounds effect were amazing. Other than the success of the cgi visuals, it was hard to enjoy the show due to some odd casting picks. I know alot of people don’t like the diversity but I think is fine. It’s It mostly the main character like Eldron and many of the elfs looks normal and too old. Aren’t they ment to looks youthful and elegant. Lots of them just look like humans. The main hero Galadrial is super cocky and unreliable for the audience to cheer for her success. I know they want to write her being a bit annoying so they can character build her up. But mannnnn she only cares for herself and has no social skills. The characters around her seem to just put up with her and eventually do what she wants. Episode 3-5 I decided to just enjoy this show as it’s own but i have so many questions marks about many things. The writers don’t explain much of anything. So now I am suffering through bad character casting, acting and now the story line.

Love the show but this was as bad as how Game of Thrones ended. The film style was not even the same as the original. Also the town play really wasted my time.
