Had high expectations going in but was left disappointed. The only thing that stuck to the main storyline was the fact that MuLan was a female who wanted to take her father’s place because he had no son to join the military while the rest of the story was not even close to the original cartoon. If you are looking for a live action remake that sticks to the storyline then I would advise you to skip this one. Aladdin in my opinion was way much better not because of Will Smith being a cast member but how closely it was kept to the original storyline. This remake was very boring... no singing, far and few in between comedic lines, etc.. Don’t waste your money nor time. It’s 1+ hour of my life that I will never get back or undo what I’ve seen.
