An amazing show with diverse representation using actual teenagers instead of some random 30 year olds. This show will inspire you, and it will build you up and break you down. I had physical heart ache when I finished this show- Wilhelm’s character is relatable and a reflection of choosing between being honest to yourself and maintaining family tradition. Simon is independent and honest. Anyone can see themselves in these characters, although the majority of them are teenage nobles. I would do anything to experience this show again. Young Royals knows how to make its audience feel on top of the world, and in the next moment, completely devastated and hopeless. I hope Netflix renews this for a season 2, and if we’re lucky we get new episodes by July 2022.
