Terrible. Visually impressive, but the plot falls short. Decisions made in the story hardly make sense. The plot serves to force the director's ideologies on the viewer rather than convey a memorable and meaningful Star Wars. They call this "subverting expectations," which in reality is just a fancy excuse for poor storytelling. All the prior movies broke expectations just fine while still maintaining a natural and logical progression, The Force Awakens included.
