I seriously tried to give this movie a chance. It's not the acting, it's the very corny dialague. It's very much like Hallie Berry's Catwoman. Just a very bad movie. I feel bad because I never write reviews for movies when they're bad but this is embarrassing.

Yep, it was exactly as promoted, claustrophobic, nail-biting. It wasn’t annoying, it was unnerving. This movie got me very angry, not because it was a bad movie, at all. But because it was so unsettling. There were so many things that took me through loops, and questioned what the hell the protagonist was thinking. Given her situation I could see how someone could come to those decisions and the movie explains these things very well. Overall, it was a well done movie, but I never want to watch it again. Which is sad, but it gets you invested and riled. The ending could’ve been better, but other than that, very good story telling.

I’d actually put this movie at 4 stars because the reviews for this movie seem very underrated. It takes a very interesting take on possession, the acting is well done, the cinematography is well done, and I’m left curious with what happens at every turn. The reviews definitely underrate this movie. I’ve seen plenty of movies that are so much worse that have better reviews even when those movies touch on every cliche. The only negative thing I’d say about this movie is that it’s not “scary”, and could’ve added a bit more mystery with the time. Once in a while it’ll hit a cliche here and there but overall it’s a pretty good take.

Wow! Unremarkable. I’m very surprised it rated as high as it is. It’s basically pretty predictable story telling with decent editing. The dialogue for a couple of people was cliche, as cliche as killing of the only black guy first. The black guy was a stereotypical token black guy. As if the producers made a point to get a blackout to be in the movie to only die and be useless. It just hit too many cliches. The beginning started off well but there was no creativity. It was like, let’s take all the known ideas out there put them in the same house and make a movie. Actually, I originally had three stars but… the girls were hot. That’s it. That’s all I’m going to say.

There was a possibility for a very good movie. However, they somehow missed the mark. This is the thing, I’m constantly asking why. Bad acting, twists; but I’ve never seen twists that are completely lame. The only good thing about this movie was the set and the camera work. Everything else is trash. I don’t often write negative reviews but my God. I’m mad, I’m actually mad.

If you aren't giving this movie 5 stars, there is something seriously wrong with you. Excellent casting, phenomenal storytelling, and raw. This movie isn't trying to be flashy or spectacular, simply real. The life you see in this movie is the life most of the world lives every day and you would be wise to understand that reality.

I’m less scared and more mad. The dad is so useless that the little girl doesn’t even ask him for help. What a useless waste of a man. The movie did a good job if it’s giving me this reaction. I’m not sure that was the intent, but it is what it is.

Okay, finally! This isn’t what I would call the best movie or horror movie I’ve ever seen, but this movie was creative. I know good work when I see it and this was good work. I’m also happy to see Nicholas cage finally take on another good role, it’s sad to see him hit and miss more often than not. This was a treat. However, the Halloween trope is corny, I enjoyed the movie. I think anyone watching it will not be disappointed.

Just Wow! I’ve watched this movie 4 times in a row and love it more and more and more. There is always a series that represents a generation and Dune will be that. This is such a treat, especially after all everyone has gone through. You have to see this historic picture. This is the type of movie that makes you so happy to be alive. I am so on board with this journey, and I can not wait for the proceeding films.

It was actually pretty entertaining and I like the lore around the concept. There were some jokey moments. It’s not one of those movies that make you think critically or force you to ask questions. At the end of the day it does what it’s suppose to do, entertain.
