It's a solid and entertaining addition to the paper Mario franchise. It's not Paper Mario 64, it's not TTYD, it's not Super Paper Mario; it's Paper Mario: The Orgami King. People who expect their, subjective, favorite game of the series will always be disappointed. And, if they made a similar game, those same people would be complaining for a lack of variety. There's always something new and experimental when a Paper Mario game releases, and in this game it's the battle system. I'll just say now, the battle system definitely did hinder my experience in the latter half of the game. The novelty wears off after a while. The story was very nice, and not overbearing or complicated. The ending wrapped up the story well. Finding toads was surprisingly satisfying. The adventure through the game kept me hooked, and the game is visually outstanding. The Orgami figures look realistic and great, compared to the flat paper and cardboard world. It's a Mario game, who cares if there isn't battle partners. It's not perfect, but its another great installment in an amazing, and sometimes experimental, franchise. Check it out, you'll probably be pleasantly surprised.
