A cute, simple yet effective movie. Even though I am personally not Christian, the few mentions of "the lord" didn't bother me too much or ruin the movie at all really. At times it is a slow watch, as the movie's main thing is it is heavy with emotions, yet in my opinion it does it well and isn't too over the top or under playing it. It's perfect, in the middle. The movie reminds me of one you'd get to watch piece by piece in school. Definitely more of a movie you'd watch on your own, yet the pacing is well and it gets it's theme across effectively. I honestly haven't cried from a movie in a good while. As someone who recently had a close call with losing someone who means absolutely everything from a car accident, I'd say the movie hits you in the feels with the similarities. The uncertainty, the waiting, the absolute relief and happiness you feel when you know they're gonna be okay, to the more gut grabbing times before hand when you're not in control over something that involves someone you love so much. Sometimes it's just fate, sometimes it's another one's actions and mere moments that take place just at that right time. All I can say is that this movie left me with a feeling of wanting to hug the person who means the most to me and never let go or take the time with them for granted. Movie as a whole isn't perfect, could be slow at times, but a good, effective movie. Would show to a classroom if I was a teacher.
