The cast are impeccable - the story is well put together but I was left a little disappointed by the ending.

I would strongly say to anyone approaching a film today in todays society to consider, whether or not, they think the story might have some promise in it. Because so often you might look at a film review and see it poorly reviewed and then you might miss out on something special. Although there are many films that have those clichés in them or moments where you might say oh, I’ve seen this in a film before the truth of the matter is the all films come from original six or seven plot lines/stories, and as such everything will always be repeating itself in one way or another What I look for in a film is characters that you have empathy with, and the story or plot, which has some truth to it that you could believe and eventually might lead you to cry over it. Brian Cox is a very relatable. Father figure and Kate Beckinsale shines as a hard done by daughter. An opportunity of the film world to touch on a medical condition is also a positive as it reminds everyone else in the world how lucky we are to have the Nhs, if you are based in the UK.

ONLY WATCH A THIRD OF THE TRAILER - unless you want to see the whole film in summary! :) Finally, a film draws attention to the terrible situation 'we' left behind in Afghanistan, with all of those incredible people who were interpreters for the USA and UK. "300 Afghan interpreters: The nonprofit says 300 Afghan interpreters and their family members have already been killed since 2001 because of their association with American forces." According to one source. Worth seeing.

Sorry for any spelling errors - super fatigued I loved this series despite some holidays from it! (Well, in a sometimes dark world - even darker is either more depressing it can help make you more appreciative!) I started it, I got distracted. I came back to it, it was too depressing and no one else wanted to watch it with me. Fast forward now I’m at things in my life do I uncontrollable I was suddenly tempted back as a recent piece of writing had been inspired by the writing of Margaret Atwood. I was intrigued as to how the writers and director would take the story forward in an way, which would continue to hold the attention of the audience, despite the depressing oppressive, subject matter, which, although dystopian has many frightening similarities to things in our current society. At the end of the day, it was the empathy created for the characters and their journey that really helped keep the attention of the watcher. I would absolutely recommend this series to anyone who is interested in politics, the role of religion in society, the socio-economic impact of policy decisions, alongside the strength of women in patriarchal societies. Friendship was beautifully depicted against all odds, and although it ended in a way which was reasonably satisfying, I would still be interested in the continuing story of the heroine and her associates.

WATCH IT. Give it a chance. Ignore the negative reviews.This is the sort of film that will pleasantly suprise you. Give you hope if you are single that good guys still exist, and for the rest of us that fairy tale magic does sometime happen in real life. I've avoided this film for some time, concerned it looked a bit cheesy, dubious even. But in a world of mediocre film production what was great about this film was that it touched on the very real issue of sickness, disability, and the power of big Pharma to literally bankrupt those who are sick. I'm not a fan of singing in films, but in this, where the heroine is actually a singer her music fitted seamlessly into the story. (I'm now listening to the soundtrack on Spotify to see if holds strength outside of the film.) Would I recommend - yes. Will I re-watch - yes. Will I Google to see if I can date an American soldier while based in the UK - oh yes. But I'm in the UK blessed with the NHS, so really it's just for the un p-c reasons of the fit eye candy.

This delivers on many levels. Fantastic acting, beautiful period houses, classic cars, on point costumes and characters who you feel are so much more than the one person they are in the story. Carrying the weight of a nation, the pain of it too. Would I recommend it? Yes. But only to someone with a love of period pieces, and probably someone who was appreciative of writing and the writer's journey.

This film is challenging to watch due to the cliched beginning and unfortunate over acting of the lead which makes for uncomfortable viewing. But I kept watching because I love and miss Italy. Then, despite odd bits of decision making by characters a twist suddenly brought the story back on track and by the end I actually did feel cheered by the story. However the test of a film is whether you would recommend it - and no. Sorry no could do. Watch it to see Italy and hear real Italian spoken at the appropriate speed but not for the quality of the story and production.

This film will not sit comfortably with you, but give it a chance. And for anyone living in the USA with a relative over 50 with a little bit of money or equity, you have been warned. This film is more than a story. It's a neon warning sign pointing at the scary behaviour in practice in the USA's care industry. Pike is breathtakingly uncaring, and no matter how many lesbian embraces or a tame shower scene make up for the fact you hate her to the point of wanting her dead. Yes. This is a film which will make you squirm. Yes, this a film that cuts close to the USA's truth. We hope doesn't exist, but it probably does. But if you have the courage to watch this through, you will leave a more informed individual. Someone who realises that a legal system doesn't necessarily mean what happens is right, and we should be vigilant not to let wolves dressed in sheep's clothing massacre the flock when we accidentally let them in. Why did I give it five stars? Because a good film should make you think. It's a success if it makes you uncomfortable, and if there is a chance someone somewhere will go and do something after seeing it - THANK THE LORD, PIXIES, MERMAIDS and any other magical beings. We must stop this travesty from continuing to occur. But who will stand up to protect those who have loved and cared for us for so long? Wrap up your loved ones, and share this film with your American friends...

Excellent. You might be unsure at first but persevere. This is a rewarding drama, and I have no doubt it is based on truth.

'The Morning Show' is breathtakingly gripping, the edge of your seat drama which will resonate with you for days to come. Finally, we have a TV series which showcases exceptionally tight script-writing with a cast who is more than capable of displaying the nuances of emotion needed to truly be honest to the #MeToo aftermath. Corey is one to watch - an underdog hero who lights up every scene he is, while Jennifer Anniston gives the performance of a lifetime alongside an emotionally gripping performance by Reese Witherspoon (everything that lady touches turns to Gold!). There was not a moment I wasn't spellbound, and I felt that there really were unexpected twists and turns in a story which all too easily could have become predictable. Watch it.
