I have to be honest, I've never been so disappointed in a book that I was previously excited to read. This book makes me borderline angry with how much I don't like it. The setting description was really the only part I thought was done well, and although the concept had potential, the execution was dreadful. And it wasn't helped in the least by a truly uninspiring main character, a cartoonishly evil villain, and one of the most stilted and confusing wlw romances I've ever seen depicted in media. And don't even get me started on the ending, it honestly made me throw the book across the room in disgust. I can understand how this might appeal to some people, but I can honestly say that I don't understand the hype in the least
