Story and plot was too incoherent for me. I dont mind parts of the story being up for debate, but it seems in the case of The Lighthouse the whole movie Is so esoteric that to me it either feels overly artistic...or poorly planned. I thought the visuals were great, the 4:3 and black and white was a breath of fresh air amist the sea of wide-screen HDR cinema we get these days. I also appreciate how much work went into studying the dialect and language to make the dialogue feel genuine. And for that I have to give it point
