This was my first time ever playing a Yakuza game without absolutely no previous knowledge about this series. I gotta say, I am now a fan and I will be playing all the games. The story is engaging, the game mechanics are freaking fun, and the main character is a badass!! Highly recommended!

It’s as generic as shonen manga. Big disappointment! They confused the concept of “shock value” for cheap writing. Great visuals though!

I don’t play many video games, but this game has amazed me with its story, graphics, combat scenes, Japanese culture, and so many more things. I highly recommend it. Take your time, explore, enjoy!
