Best Track (in my opinion): WHAT TO DO
Tracklist Ratings:
1) HIGHEST IN THE ROOM (REMIX): I believe the original version was 100x better than the remix. Travis Scott's signature ad-libs shouldn't have been replaced by Rosalia, and Lil Baby's verse at the end was completely unnecessary.
2) JACKBOYS (INTRO): The synths from Mike Dean were very melodic in this intro.
3) GANG GANG: The features in this track were mind-blowing. The intro verse by Sheck Wes and the hook from Don Toliver were on another level. I was a bit unsatisfied by Laflame's 4-bar verse (it was too short!). However, Luxury Tax 50's verse was catchy and rhymed really well.
4) HAD ENOUGH: The intro of this track was amazing! Don Toliver also teases his album name in this track (Heaven or Hell). Offset's verse blends well with the chorus of this track. I believe Quavo's verse at the end wasn't required. Lastly, this track was really short.
5) OUT WEST: The production and instrumentation by Buddah Bless was the second-best out of all of the tracks in this album. Thugger's hook added some humor into the theme of this track. Again, Travis Scott's verse was too short!
6) WHAT TO DO: This track had the best production and lyrics out of all the tracks in this album. Both Don Toliver and Travis had fire verses.
7) GATTI: This track definitely took a few listens to understand the overall meaning. Pop Smoke's flow matched perfectly with the drill beat provided by AXL Beats and 808 Melo. Travis Scott's verse was iconic, and it was a little longer compared to the verses in the other tracks.
In conclusion, I was disappointed by Laflame's short verses. Furthermore, HIGHEST IN THE ROOM (REMIX) wasn't too good either. I'm still happy that the other tracks were good (GANG GANG, WHAT TO DO, GATTI).
