It is for sure a very important milestone in Raymond Depardon's life. The emotional is present in each and every photography. I believe I could feel and even understand what Depardon's was trying to tell me , how mush he missed those places and people , express very strongly his nostalgia for theose last ones , through this vanishing time and period of his life he can not ignore how much it influence his life ,carreer and ''regard''. His father being one of them. It is not by coincindence he appears on the first page in his book. It looks like the episode of its origin's place of birth and all related surroundings of this sublime countryside of France needed to find an expression; ths is indeed an achievement at its best. The quality of impression is absolutely remarkable. Thank you Mr.Depardon, you are a great Master !
